•It is recommended that you co-wash your curly or wavy extensions before install.

•Although you can color and bleach your extensions yourself, we do recommend that you see a licensed cosmetologist/hairstylist for all of your coloring or bleaching needs.

•Glam’d Beauté extensions can be styled with heating tools, but be sure to use a light heat protectant to prevent damage to hair.

•When shampooing your extensions try to go for a hydrating shampoo or an all natural/organic or sulphate free shampoo to keep the hair from drying out. It is very important that you use a sulfate free shampoo because sulfates tend to strip the hair strands of their natural oils and nutrients.

•During shampooing avoid scrunching the extensions to keep hair from tangling up.

•Avoid shampoo and conditioning products that contain Sulfates, Isopropyl Alcohol, Formaldehyde and Propylene Glycol, these are strong chemicals which will strip the hair of natural oils and leave them dry and sometimes damaged if used for a prolonged period of time.

•Conditioning is key! Try to condition your hair with good quality conditioners and moisturize your extensions with natural oils often!

•Brush and detangle hair with a wide-tooth comb before shampooing to ensure less tangles while washing and styling. DO NOT brush hair when wet, for the follicles of the hair are most vulnerable when wet.

•If possible, allow your extensions to air dry to avoid heat damage.

•Wrap your hair extensions up with a satin scarf or sleep on a satin pillow case at night to avoid friction and reduce frizz.

•Condition, condition, condition! Keeping your extensions hydrated and healthy will ensure the longevity of the hair.
